The "Pali Banyan" by Yoshi Umeda of Power Drive Surfboards Hawaii
9'0" x 23" x 2 7/8"
72.5 L
The "Pali Banyan" model was designed for the legendary fictional Waikiki logger named Pali Banyan. He was the ultimate hot logger with quick feet and could hang ten on any way that came to him. The board has a nice low rocker. Scooped out nose concave runs into a belly and rolled vee through the tail. Nice and stable on the nose and cruises and trims like Pali always dreamed.
"As a former professional surfer at the forefront of the Japanese surf scene in the 80's, Yoshi Umeda pursued his dream of shaping on the North Shore of Oahu. He established Power Drive Surfboards in 1988 while collaborating with Blue Hawaii Surf, where he rapidly gained a reputation as a highly skilled shaper by riders on the North Shore and around the world."
