Where to Bodyboard?

Waikiki Walls

Centrally located in Waikiki, Walls is the premier bodyboarding spot in Town! Only bodyboards are allowed at this location (enforced by lifeguards and surfers) so no need to worry about getting run over by a 12 foot log. Relatively close to shore with a mild paddle out, this wave breaks over reef and offers the perfect wave for bodyboarding. There is an inside section and a shorebreak that is more inviting for beginners, but the outside waves break beyond the wall and offer excellent rides for even the most seasoned bodyboarders. The Wall is easy to find, just east of the Duke Statue there is a long boardwalk with a gazebo on the end, also known as Queen's Beach. Paddle out on the left side of the wall, jumping off is not recommended by the lifeguards!

Cheap parking is available right across the street at the Honolulu Zoo, or if you're lucky you may be able to find free street parking nearby.
